THE CONCEPT

We love working on artistic projects more than anything. When Academy Films approached us with the task of designing their new brand identity and website, we stepped up to the plate. We decided on a thematic approach which would mimic the focus function on a film camera lens.

THE BRAND

Academy Films also needed a brand identity and logo which reflected their values as a film production studio. We were happy to oblige.

THE WEBSITE

We transplanted the “out of focus camera” idea onto the website as well. This gave us the opportunity to play with various effects making the site both minimalistic and dynamic. This interesting design element also comes into play when a site visitor clicks onto various images or pages in the menu. The image will go in or out of focus depending on what is being clicked on.

RESPONSIVE DESIGN

Naturally like all our websites, We made sure Academy Films’ site could be accessed from a mobile, tablet, laptop desktop or even the big screen in the movie theatres.
